In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Staten Island; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12–10:30 PM. One of our favorite Korean BBQ spots on Staten Island because they have such a friendly and helpful wait staff and the food has never been short of fresh and appetizing. It’s truly all you can eat so come hungry and really go to town. Ordering on iPads is intuitive and not complicated at all. The sauce and appetizer station to the side is such a fun way to create different sauces each time you visit. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate large parties and if you dine-in on your birthday, your meal is free (simply show ID). Give them a try and I’m almost certain you’ll have an amazing experience!

We had a great experience at K Pot. The combination of Korean BBQ and hot pot is perfect because everyone can choose their favorite ingredients and flavors. The meat was fresh and well-seasoned, and there was a wide variety of options for both the BBQ and hot pot. The soup bases were flavorful, and the vegetables, seafood, and side dishes were always well stocked. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help whenever we needed anything. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a fun atmosphere for dining with family and friends. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy both Korean BBQ and hot pot in one meal, K Pot is definitely worth visiting. We will be back again soon!

Had a really good dinner with my family at kpot for a few times already. They have hotpot and bbq meat. They have many other options too (sushi, drinks and others). And the drinks are refreshing and good. Overall it’s a very good experience. Definitely recommend this place. I live nearby too, so convenient too! Love it!

A over a month after the fact and this situation still bothers me. My party went to this KPot the Friday after Christmas for lunch. After being seated we were told that today was all day dinner, despite it being around 1:00. I was already sat and decided to stay anyway. On our first order I saw this big bug on the Bok choy, absolutely disgusting. My party and I immediately alerted our waitress and planned on just leaving. Our waitress grabbed the Bok choy quickly and rushed off. She came back about 5 minutes off and said her manager offered 20% off. We already planned on leaving, but not even offering to reduce the price to the lunch price we should’ve been paying anyway and the manager not coming over himself to speak to us was insulting. Disappointed to say I’ll never go back, not even because of the obvious huge BUG on the food but the response of management was beyond unsatisfactory.

I’ve heard great things about this place, so I had come check it out for myself! Boy it didn’t disappoint ☺️! I love that the waiters actually cook the meats you choose and are attentive, which by the way you have a pretty great selection of pork beef chicken and some seafood (I wouldn’t suggest the shrimp it’s not cleaned, but the squid was good). Most of the food is seasoned well and tasty. They give you an array of selections for the sides and they were definitely tasty. I enjoyed the egg soufflΓ©, calamari, fried chicken, fried rice but you can taste them all, so go for it. The place was packed definitely family oriented and everyone seemed as content as I was. I will be back for more.
